Thanks for using Plant Care Schedule. These terms are short on purpose. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Who we are
The app is published by freitagskind apps (Maximilian Freitag), based in Germany. Contact details are in the Impressum.
2. The service
Plant Care Schedule is an Android app that lets you track watering intervals for your plants and sends you local notifications when those intervals come due. It is provided "as is", with the features available at the time you install it. Features may be added, changed or removed in future updates.
3. Free tier and premium unlock
- The free tier lets you add up to three (3) plants with no time limit.
- The optional premium unlock is a one-time in-app purchase of €1.99 (or local equivalent set by Google Play) that removes the plant limit. It is not a subscription.
- Purchases are processed via Google Play Billing through our billing provider RevenueCat. Their terms also apply to that transaction.
- The premium entitlement is tied to your Google Play account. You can restore it on any device signed in to that account via the "Restore purchases" button in Settings.
4. Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy. As an EU consumer you may have additional statutory rights — please contact us at the address in the Impressum if you have a refund question that Google Play can't resolve.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except as expressly permitted by law;
- use the app in any way that violates applicable law;
- attempt to circumvent the free-tier plant limit or any billing checks; or
- resell, sublicense or redistribute the app without our written permission.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time (Android battery optimisations, "Do Not Disturb" mode, force-stopping the app, or device-side bugs can delay or suppress local notifications). You are responsible for the actual care of your plants — this is a reminder tool, not a guarantee.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, plants, or other intangible damages arising out of or relating to your use of the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for damages that cannot be limited under mandatory law, in particular liability for intent or gross negligence and liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
8. Intellectual property
The app, its source code, design, name and logo are owned by freitagskind apps. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you control, for personal purposes.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or via the listing on Google Play.
10. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
For business customers, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is München, Germany.
